For those who believe...!!!

In a small town in America, a person decided to open up his Bar
Business, which was right opposite to a Church. The Church & its
Congregation started a campaign to block the Bar from opening with
Petitions and prayed daily against his business.

Work progressed. However, when it was almost complete and was about To
Open a few days later, a strong lightning struck the Bar and it was
Burnt to the ground. The Church folk were rather smug in their outlook
After that, till The Bar owner sued the Church authorities for
$2million on the grounds that the Church through its congregation &
Prayers was ultimately responsible For the demise of his bar shop,
Either through direct or indirect Actions or means.

In its reply to the court, the Church vehemently denied all
Responsibility or any connection that their prayers were reasons to
The bar shop's demise. In support of their claim they referred to the
Benson study at Harvard that intercessionary prayer had no impact!

As The case made its way into court, the Judge looked over the
paperwork At the hearing and commented:
'I don't know how I am going to decide this case, but it appears from
the paperwork, we have a bar owner who believes in the power of Prayer
And we have an entire Church and its devotees that doesn't.'

You decide as to who is right !!

Darkness spreads when light departs.,

Somethings are lost at the least expected time., unnoticed and unintended yet these losses inevitable.,

Such is life and the quint-essence of our existence.,

Fight against Corruption...

Strategy For a corruption free society..

Corruption is been there for a long time. we cannot fight corruption with unorganized efforts., we efforts should strategically planned that the system of our society knows abut corruption the moment it occurs.

A lot has to be changed., starting with..

1. Right to select should be accompanied with right to reject.
i.e we have right to select an MP or MLA but we don't have the right to reject them even if are found to be totally unfit..

2. IT has to be used effectively in automating government procedures - once people are clear with rules., the chances of corruption will be much lesser than now.. Fir eg. if the procedure for license is clearly documented ( in lay man terms ofcourse ) and the process automated through internet., the changes for bribing in RTO will be negligible..

3. Federalization i.e decentralization of various function of government should be done and public surveillance should be facilitated in the govt contracts and execution.

4. A Law re-enforcement department should be set up to keep a vigil on law enforcement agencies such as police, traffic police.. they will act as police for police..

5. Auditors and tax assessors should be bound by strict rules., if found to be fraudulent ., then a ban on license and imprisonment should be imposed. To ensure tax is collected and to ensure prudence of private accounts.

6. Tax rates should be fixed by revenue targets and only moderate rates should be charged. Rent collected by a owner of a property should be traced from the tenant's accounts. This would bring tax to abt 10 - 15 % a bearable burden for all.

7. Citizen ID is a must., and all details regarding a person should be accessable by keying in citizen ID.. no more unwanted paper work.

I hope i've pointed few realistic steps in our fight for anti-corruption. Hope u people appreciate it.. i guess u all can add more..

What’s My Identity…

Moving along the journey of life we have come across many check points where getting through to the next phase is based on our identity, whether it be our education, career (or) even union with old school pals..

What do I say my identity is, when the question pop’s out from somewhere.. Logically if it were an interview I would have thrown light on my educational and academic background...

But if it a situation involving government procedures ‘n authorities., my location and even my birth certificate. takes the lead cast., as along with Driving License, Passport.. Visa, Pan card, A/c Nos, School Certificates and everything else..

If it were a family function., my identity can be mapped from my parents n grand parents.. If it’s a get together.. then my friends., college and even the Bike I posses becomes my identity..

But when I though I’ve got everything to identify myself, I was dumbstruck before a couple of days, after a school mate of mine couldn’t figure out who I was.. Just opening one more door for thinking… n re-thinking… “ What exactly is my Identity..?”

I did try to “well u can say “ remind her.. But midway I got lost in my own thoughts.. but with what… I had nothing.. “ What was I exactly doing in school days..?” or for matter am I doing to today..?’ what would become my identity in the next few decades I’ll live..?

Now that’s a Brain Stormer… Guess I’m not intelligent enough to find an answer for than… well Guys n Gals.. can u pull this off..

Driving In Garden City..

Driving is one of the favourate things I do.., I’d really like to share a few thoughts I had cruising across Bangalore, Bangalore is an ever changing place it seems.., got to say it’s definitely got a better infra-structure than my home city…

The Blood stream of the city are its roads.. it lacks the local train advantage that many Indian cities have.. Thus has many heart attacks everyday.. though many By-pass Surgeries have been done, the ailment is incurable..

We can broadly classify the vehicle stream of this city in to

1.a.,The Known - The ones who know the way around.

b.,The Unknowns - The ones with a eye out for the right way. ( like me )

2.a.,The Drives - The ones who Drive. Because they can.

2.b.,The Drive - Nots - The ones who Drive, only coz they have a car. ( L – Boards.. basically )

The roads are featured with a Binomial distribution having the Expert Cab Drivers on one side and customary people on the other in a dynamic proportion., which changes with time. Of course with the sweet roar of engines n Not so sweet Smoke.,

A success of a typical commuting event from a source to destination is governed by many factors such the Type of Driver and the prevailing traffic distribution as in any experimental function.. but it is seen that most of the times the experiment is successful though many time barriers are breached.

Since I had the “drives, unknowns combo” and it was a hard time getting around the road. Was an real adventure, since I knew nothing about the directions. Seems Bangalore got a “Auto-complete feature” you have to be no expert in kannada., No need of grammar., Just say the name of the place the locals will just instruct their best route., which often seems to be the longest way the place., Just ask for direction, u’ll find that u’ll be directed to take a U - turn n tackle a fly-over or two., which on the other-hand can be done in a easy left turn., it can be branded as “The Bengaluru Way” around.

Extraa Shots : -

On my way to the fuel station, I learnt that fuel has an extra premium price tag when compared to other metro’s., I Wonder how fuel is priced., looks like some-one forgot to implement VAT on Fuel., Invest the tax on fuel on the road., and India will have Roads of F1 standards all around.

Fuel Economy is on a landside in Bangalore., “No wonder manufacturers put a USTC tag whenever taking about fuel economy.”, along with other prices, fuel expenses fall heavily on the pockets of poor motorist who are already struck by havoc in the roads.

Bangalore as along with many cities., not only fuels our economy n GDP., but burns a lot of fuel n power to propel itself economically., but forgets what it has emitted, a huge pile of Green-house gases and further a lot of heat.,

I don’t think its Garden City anymore n Driving there is No Walk in a Park.

Dream Come True

Not days but years passed since i wished,
That the day would come.,
The day when i would meet her.,
feel her slender curves.,
Go around her.. feeling the Fragrance.,
Breathe her to my soul.,

I have longed for it,
Since half a decade ago.,
But i always knew, the day would come,
when i would feel her chill with the warmth around,
Catching my breadth., i came around her.,

The moment i approached her.,
I felt my pulse go wild,
And wild she was all the time,
Oh i forgot how time sped away,
coz being with her made me a kid again.,

The wait was over,
The want complete,
So i left her the way she was.,
Hoping to return again someday fine...

----- Guess tats why they call her "Queen of Hills"

What is Success...?

Success... a word ringing all around us... I'd like to know what it means really..,

What does this word mean..., Is it

- The marks or Academic Benchmarks we breach...

- The Career Objectives like Position., Profile etc you get yourselves into...

-Or like the Dictionary Definition..

1.the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors.
2.the attainment of wealth, position, honors.

But real success is closer to Swami Vivekananda's definion..

1. "Success is a State of Mind"
2. "Success is to Know that at least one others life has breathed easier because of you "

Mere academic and economic achievement are percieved as success ., and if all efforts are dedicated towards these achievements, so what is the real essence of our existence...?

Money., power., Knowledge..? All these are important but., like they say "Too much of anything is good for nothing... " running behind these takes us Nowhere...

It'll be a lot better if our efforts are focussed in achieving " success " which is a perpectual Journey towards "a interdependent life" where "Living" makes sense...
where we care for People., nature., and things which are really important...

Coz Life is Not a F1 Race where u have a destination... to make it to the Podium... itz a journey where u make friends.., learn., teach., share., and ofcourse enjoy...
